Stress has become a part and parcel of our lives these days. Even in work-from-home situations, we have worries around deadlines, taking care of family, routine, physical health and mental health, etc. Given the aspirations, we have to live life in today’s time at a rapid speed, adapting new technology and knowledge, etc. Often people say they have anxiety or depression because of stress in life which are by-products of our lifestyle. So, sharing here a few tools on how to keep your mind calm even when the situation is not in your favor or you are “STRESSED”

  •  Journal: Write down as much you can about your thoughts your mental state of being the emotions you are feeling etc this will help you ease a lot.
  • Practice Meditation: Meditation is not about just sitting in a perfect position and then closing your eyes, its a tool to connect to your own senses, your rhythm of the body and calm the mental chatter which makes everything big. Meditation is all about the observation of your own breathing rhythm, what your body is trying to say, and connecting you to your core self.
  • Speak to a close ally: Speak with your close friend, family member, or a colleague someone who is neutral and a good listener, you will feel light once you share your thoughts and emotions someone will certainly assist you, or maybe the problem was just in our heads.
  • Physical Body Movement: Move your body let the stagnant energies leave your body, do Zumba, yoga, martial arts, walk whichever suits you but take out at least one hour for it.
  • Inculcate a Hobby: If you have loved painting, dancing, mandala work, etc give time for that hobby as you engross yourself into it you will find calmness and a rejoicing experience.
  • Spent Time in Nature: It’s been said for a long time that nature has its own element to heal a soul and refresh, spend time in nature and outdoors, it will rejuvenate your soul, body, mind.

These are a few easy-to-do ways to make ourselves stressed free and declutter the chatting mind and bring positive towards life.
